• Overall administration, management, planning, supervision and development of all Library services and activities.
• Policy formulation, strategic planning and development of the Library.
• Overall supervision and coordination of all Library sections, services and staff.
• Liaison with the University administration, statutory bodies, Library Committee and other concerned agencies.
• Monitoring of budget, procurement and utilization of Library resources.
• Overall responsibility for the development of physical and digital Library infrastructure and services.
